Job Purpose

The Senior Tender Manager will lead the complete tendering function along with operational coordination for the Sales & Marketing department. The role requires deep understanding of tender processes, client specifications, documentation standards, and cross-department coordination. The candidate will play a key role in increasing tender success rates, ensuring compliance, and strengthening customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Tender Management

  • Lead the entire tender process including identification, evaluation, preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Review tender documents (Technical & Commercial) and ensure compliance with company capability and client requirements.
  • Coordinate internally with Production, QA/QC, Design, Finance, and Management to prepare competitive tender proposals.
  • Ensure timely submission of all tender documents as per client timelines.

2. Technical & Commercial Analysis

  • Analyze project specifications, BOQs, drawings, eligibility criteria, and contract terms.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market study to improve bid competitiveness.
  • Prepare cost estimations, pricing sheets, and commercial bid documents.

3. Client Coordination & Relationship Management

  • Communicate with clients for tender clarifications, technical queries, and documentation support.
  • Represent the company during pre-bid meetings, negotiations, and discussions.
  • Strengthen relationships with government bodies, contractors, PMC, and private clients.

4. Sales & Marketing Coordination

  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to align tender strategies with business growth objectives.
  • Support the field sales team by providing product knowledge, approvals, certifications, and documentation.
  • Track upcoming projects, tenders, and industry developments through portals, networking, and business intelligence.

5. Compliance & Documentation Control

  • Ensure all tender submissions comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and company policies.
  • Maintain an organized database of tenders, pricing history, bid results, and client communications.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review.

6. Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations team for material planning, dispatch tracking, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Support overall departmental workflow to improve efficiency and communication.

Required Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 4–7 years experience in Tendering / Sales Coordination / Project Coordination.
  • Experience in Infrastructure, Construction, Steel Fabrication, Bridge Bearings, Expansion Joints preferred.
  • Graduation

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of government, PSU, EPC, and private tendering processes.
  • Excellent command over MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
